What kind of music are you into? and what does it mean to you?

I'm just curious to see what music other people are into, i like most types of music but my favorite band is probably hollywood undead, what about you guys ?

For some odd reason, I love Hollywood Undead. It's rather strange because I don't like rap at all!

I like some of today's rock and roll (Shinedown and Avenged Sevenfold)... but I'm mostly living in the 80's! 80's Hair Metal FTW!

My musical tastes vary based on my mood. Mostly, I like metalcore or death metal (Killswtich Engage, Suicide Silence). Sometimes I'm more into dark trance or hardstyle (Project Rotten, Angerfist). Sometimes I like to chill to classical (Carmen by Bizet). Modern Pop pisses me off, but 60s-90s was great (too diverse to name). All in all, there all just bricks in the wall. The wall is my musicc collection, of course.

Like Ex-Chaste-Lover, my tastes change depending on the mood I am in.  It is a viscous cycle really, because if I am depressed I listen to depressing music and listing to depressing music makes me more depressed.  But anything other then blue, country, classical or anything that is slow or childish; with variation.

"Seven Devils" - Florence + The Machine
"No Church In The Wild" - Jay-Z + Kayne West

Goth, industrial, power noise, future pop, ebm, classical, traditional jazz, various other things that are innovative and well composed.  If I had to pick a favorite artist, it would probably have to be Dead Can Dance.

My music taste is varied to say the leas!
It includes such styles and bands as classical, pop from 60s to mid 90s, 90s and some later indie, rock and roll, hard rock, symphonic and operatic rock and pop, folk and folk rock.
Then there are individual bands and pieces of music that don't fit into the above categories that I like, for instance I'm generally not a fan of rap but  there are a handful of songs in my collection I like.
I'm not going to say more as some things would make it to easy to identify me.
