Fun - Woud you rather..?

Would you rather...
a) Can fly
or...
b) Can read kids' minds?

One of the many reasons I love children is that they don't hold back and just speak their mind. And even if they don't, their faces tell you all. I don't think I need to have a power to read children's minds, everyone can do that already.

On flying ... I hardly ever recall dreams when I wake up, except one recurring dream that I have since childhood already. Where my steps become jumps. And then the jumps get longer and longer, keeping me floating in the air longer and longer, until in the end I just actually fly.
Whenever I have that dream (quite regular as a child, perhaps once every few years now) I wake up feeling this is real. Feeling I only need to commit to making longer jumps instead of steps and I will float and fly.
And I also wake up recalling how great it feels to fly!

So, yeah. Easy choice. Option a for me.

easiest question ever. B. living forever is endless torture. eventually the heat death of the universe is gonna hit, and then you're left floating in space, with freezing temperatures, unable to catch a breath, and, most likely, your guts out floating around you. anything, even a googolplex years of hardcore hell-like torture is better than an eternity in heaven.

For Midamoto (I know, out of line, out of order ... so sue me because it's going to get worse!) I pick option C, have a forum that helps guide the users through BBCode by providing an easy user interface.

And the official answer to Robotboy .... Some would call me a cynical old goat. I prefer to use the term "lived long enough to have a sense of reality".
Most of the people around me, around all of us, are basically a-holes. If 90% of those have superpowers and I am not, I would be fodder for their whimsies.
So out of sheer self preservation I have to pick option K, and hope my powers are strong enough that I keep winning.

Talking of superpowers, would you rather ...

A) Have the power of teleportation, but only for your body, nothing else (i.e. you arrive stark naked where you teleport to);

B) Have the power of invisibility, but you cannot operate any material objects while invisible (i.e. no sneaking in the elementary school locker rooms unless someone leaves the door open long enough for you to sneak in and out)

If I don't interact with material objects, then won't I just fall to the center of the Earth?  What's so special about a door versus a floor?  They're both made of matter.  If I can't interact with one, then I can't interact with any of them.
(Ah pedantry; it's fun for nerds everywhere!   Because sometimes it's more entertaining to debate internal consistency in a fantasy scenario than it is to address the fantasy itself. )

I think I'd still take the invisibility.  Because I'm assuming I'd just be able to turn it off when I need to open a door or whatever, then turn it back on once it's open; that kind of thing.

The loophole was intentional. Yes, you can turn it off and on. But how will the children in the locker room respond when you suddenly materialize next to the door because you have seen enough?

Hmmm, the "repopulate the world" scenario is so enticing. So often used in stories.
But it does involve lots of people horribly dying. And that blood would be on my hands if I choose this scenario now.

On the other hand, I'd say I am already well off right now, just without the kind of access to children that I think (hope) you mean. And it's also likely I'll take my secrets to the grave. So the second choice trades being hated once i am dead for lots of fun until that day. And not just fun for me but also for the children. I think we have a winner!

Easiest choice in the world...A! As long as they're having fun, I'd be having fun. When I was a kiddo and some special time with a certain adult, she put my pleasure first.

I'd rather pee on someone. I don't like the idea of being peed on anywhere. I might tolerate it in a shower but still kind of gross to me. Doesn't matter who. Also I won't particularly enjoy it.

Eh, I feel like I know enough languages to be covered as far as that goes. I can learn one or two more with some effort maybe. I'll take double the charisma, that's always good to have.

• Live to be 60 without a single day of bad health, and then drop dead,
• Live to be 100, but your health starts to slowly deteriorate at 40 (this is basically the standard human life with the added guarantee of making it until the 100 mark).

Option A for sure. I prefer to die young than to live until 100yo but to feel my life slowly fading away day after day. Hope you get better from whatever you're facing, GentlePedo

First option, of course. My concept of "life of my dreams" is having a child with me.

Tough choice. For me, children are far more than sexual beings. My pedo side is just one side of my overall love for children. I have been lucky to have spent lots of time near and around children, and even though I never got intimate with any of them, I still loved every minute of that. I now see far less children, due to my age, my own children being grown up, and not having grand children. I often miss having children around. So from that perspective, option a sounds just great.

But I also have a sexual life that consists of my right hand, with as only variation my left hand if my right hand is wounded.
I'd *love* to have more sex in my life. Much more. And while a willing, eager, and consenting child would be the pinnacle of my dreams, I'd also give a lot in order to have sex with adult women. Perhaps even men.

After some thought I picked a. Option b sounds too much like purely sex only, and emotional involvement trumps the pure physical effect of sex.
