Let's play a game.

If you could choose to meet and spend a day with one member, to go out and have fun and to talk about life face to face, who would you choose?

There's only one rule. No sexual interests can be involved whatsoever in your decision. You can't choose someone because he has daughters or because he knows children and is proposing an orgy or something, or because he's single and seems to be a good match for you.

My first answer would be someone who has been gone a long time now. I think we would have gotten on famously.  But I feel like the intention is to pick an active member.  So then my pick would certainly be my Staff colleague Gaki.  I can see us staying up until the wee hours discussing innumerable topics over innumerable drinks.

This should come as no surprise. The first on my list is nyarla. We are both very alike and we both like the same things. We chatted numerous times in the topics and through PM's too. Finding fun stuff to do with him would be no hard. I'd love to exchange some headshots with him in BF1 or wreck up a shopping mall like in that Avril Lavigne music video.

The second is The Forgotten (I don't remember how to write his name and I'm too lazy to go check.), for the same reasons as nyarla.

The third one is littlepolly. He seems to be a very lived person, full of interesting life experiences to share. He posted somewhere here something like "About 30 years ago, this happened to me." (Not exactly like this, but you get my meaning.). Damn... I have not even lived 30 years yet. I'd love to share some beers with him and listen to what stories he has to tell.

The fourth one is lensman, for reasons similar to littlepolly. He always shared some of the most interesting views in the discussions, and he seems to be a very cultured person.

There are many others here I care a lot about and love to see posting, like you, Gaki, Chairman, BabyBoyLove, FunFare, ReturnOfTheChampion, AWAWAW (missing), ministraw (missing), Mr. Speed (missing) and others, but, face to face, I don't think we would have much to say and stuff, so meeting them is not much of a desire. Nothing against, I'd love to, but it's not really necessary.

That would be tough to single out anyone given the stated criteria. With on topic material many, but not knowing everyone else's preferences outside of here it would be difficult at best to single anyone out. I'm certain there are many that would great to talk to about a variety of subjects given the intellectual thoughts expressed here with on topic subjects. So if I had to pick one it would be Gaki.

Hey, guy, I'd choose you, too! I've enjoyed our discussions and back and forth banter very much. And throwing back a few would definitely be on my list!

Since I like to write stories and articles, there a few writers here that stand out to me - Matrix, Aphrodite, TahBu, FunFare, Metamorphosis. I'd like maybe to collaborate with some of them or maybe just bounce ideas around. Writing can be too solitary a thing and I'm a social person. I just can't be social about on topic and wish I could.

Now when I thought about it more... I remember discussion with BabyBoyLove, he seems a smart guy, I'd like to meet him. No attractions involved, we don't seem to have common attractions anyway

I would love to meet lots of you guys, but if I had to give one answer it would be Chairman. Both for the discussions, but also for him being the CP encyclopedia that he is/was. Bet he had a lot of stuff to tell, that he hasn't revealed on here, damn I miss him on here.

The past member I referred to is GLover.  He was on Staff here for a long time, for those too 'young' to remember.  Every time I see a redheaded little girl do something cute, I chuckle, then get a twinge of sadness because I can't tell GLover about it and make him jealous.

I don't think anyone knows, but I don't think it was anything sinister. People do drift away for various reasons, and sometimes when they try to come back they find we're no longer where we were. I think for those who aren't interested in other pedo-oriented sites, such as those who don't search for CP, it can be quite hard to find us again when we change our URL (as we have done a few times).

I'm going to echo OTR a little - it's the other staff I'd be most interested in meeting. There are a good many others here I think would be good to talk to in IRL, but I don't want to specify that in case others feel unloved

Sometimes, when there are server related problems or similar issues, the managers change the URL. But the site is still the same, you won't need to create a new account. Sometimes, when a backup restore is necessary, some recently created posts and accounts will be lost, though.
