There's way too many interesting folk on here for me to pick just one.  I'd leap at the chance with any one of y'all. Though I gotta say, having Nyarla as my "guide" for a night out on the town in his corner of the world would be  interesting.  Completely different from anything I'm used to.

This is such a tough call! When I saw that the thread had been bumped, I figured I'd see a bunch of mealy-mouthed "Oh, I really can't choose" stuff.  But, since others are answering honestly . . . in alphabetical order:

DropsOfJupiter, because I feel a real kinship, or commonality with her, despite our enormous age difference. I've had a few PM interactions with her, and I simply can't imagine her being insincere. She's probably the age of several of my granddaughters, so I feel a silly, unnecessary "protective" instinct toward her. Her recent heartaches have made me love her even more.

ijp and stalker. I put them together because they have both, in their own ways, impressed me with their intelligence, humor, and very fascinating and unusual personalities. I'd sit at their feet and just listen.

nyarla, who is possibly my closest "buddy" in the community. We've PM'ed a lot, and although some of our sexual tendencies are different, I feel a great "big-brother" type affection for him. We're on the same page, although in different paragraphs!

ontherocks, because he knows where all the bodies are buried; and he hasn't hesitated to rebuke me when I was showing my ass.  He's probably a great deal more mature than I am!

I have never corresponded with any of the men here but I have read their posts and comments and I have a lot of respect for OTR, IJP, Mathew, Alex, LikelyHuman, TooLittleTime and a few others. I have exchanged pm's with quite a few of the women though. The one I would have wanted to meet most of all is no longer here. Out of the ones That are still here are:

DOJ -  I think DOJ is a very intelligent girl and like Alex said despite our enormous age difference I think she is a sweetheart!!

WhyMe-  I think she would be a very interesting person to know!!

Girlsmom-  Overlooking the fact that she is married we have something very special in common and I think she is a very nice lady!!

Unsurepartner-  We are just now getting to know each other but she too is a sweetheart and I like her a lot!!

Everyone here has their own unique personality and I would be honored to meet and get to know each and every one of you!!

It's weird how you can actually develop friendships in such an anonymous website where you don't actually see the person, you don't have anything to prove anything one says, yet, somehow, through the very basic human nature of "talking", we can develop connections to an extent whatever else is unknown like the place of living, the name, precise age and whatever else don't matter.

I rather feel that maybe.....maybe....when everyone is totally anonymous that is the only time you can see exactly how good of a friendship you can form. When nothing based on being nearby is holding you back, look at what can happen.

Also it is nice that you can have someone close enough to know it when they see it and not need to be told. That is when you know you are good friends.

I agree with you 100% DOJ. The problem is when you can develop that kind of friendship and when you want to go to another level both of you has to put yourself out in the open and take that chance!!

Oh, ain't this thread a walk down the memory lane, heh. And I see that I never really answered.

There are many members now long gone that I would have loved to meet. Perhaps, if I had to choose just one, that would easily be Gaki. Out of the current members, nyarla for a night out in a city (I'll pay for the drugs!) and DarkRedComet for a day at the beach, collecting plastic trash (and some boywatching!).
