Quote from: lthisl on 18 August, 2016, 00:31:48It's sad that Kairi was not in the Little Mermaid level. Kingdom Hearts catch my heart the first time i heard the concept and the details hidden to explore, so glad that the main story continues forward with KH3. The trailer was full of teases like the chess pieces. While playing Mass Effect 2, renegade style badass motherfucker Samuel L. Jackson lookalike Hades Shepard, the codex caught my eye. Half of it has voice over, thanks to the sci-fi theme, the technical parts reminds me on star trek engineer talk. The codex for Dragon Age feels bigger but has no voice over. Funny the hardest decision is the love interest, with good Shepard it was easy Tali form the first game on i wanted her, this time i want go for Miranda but when the option came to get Tali i needed 20 minutes(feels like) to hit the nope button. One critic point is that if you dont hold your stick up-right(good) or down-right(bad) in dialogues, choose a play style, you are handicapped later in the game when you options are greyed out because you have not enough decisions made for it. Dragon Age is better for this but in one it feels like there is one right way to solve a problem and the other ways are wrong. Dragon Age 2 was better in this way but on normal as warrior or rouge was more like a hack'n'slay. Also it had one of the coolest sidekicks, Varick the shaved drawf.

About love interests, I went with Ashley in the first game. Then, replaying, I went with the asari girl, I don't remember her name. I replayed many more times again, and always went with the asari girl. In the second game, which I replayed well over a dozen times, I did go with Miranda and Jack sometimes, but most of the times I went with Tali. In the third game, I always went with Tali, never tried anyone else. There are even special scenes in the third game if you went with her in the second and imported the save file. She does take her mask for Shepard off-screen, but the player never gets so her face outside of a blurry picture.

Never tried the gay options and never played as a female Shepard to try the male options.

Funny curiosity. The first game was actually forbidden in some countries (Russia if I'm not mistaken) just because of the asari girl. For some reason, they thought the idea of having sex with an imaginary alien species was outrageous.

In Dragon Age, I never developed any relationship. I was too busy being a badass. Then the third game came out. And I just had to have gay sex with the Iron Bull, hah hah.

square has a bad habit of announcing games way too early. I'm almost tempted to start taking bets as to what comes out first Kingdom Hearts 3 or the Final Fantasy 7 remake

Okay so yeah I am a gamer.  I have lost over 900 days of my life in front of a MMORPG.  My game pre-dates WoW (lousy imitation game) and post dates Everquest.  By the way that 900 days is on the /play for me added up for all my characters 24 hours a day.  It was where I met my ex and I still log into the game from time to time now.  Although it doesn't hold my attention like it used to.
I have played Tanks, Casters, Healers, and rouge classes in my game on all sides of the battle field in PvP modes. By far my favorite was the Rouge class archers.
I also played World of Tanks and still log into that as well occasionally.

The picture isn't that blurry, you can clearly see what she looks like for the most part. Tali's a good character and I like her a lot, but I feel like BioWare lost an opportunity with Taki the pull off on the greatest troll / social experimen ever and make that picture showing her face revealing her being predator faced or something highly insect life, just so they can sit back and wach the the internet blow up in the collective yell "I CAN'T BELIEVE I FUCKED THAT.

Started playing South Park: The Stick Of Truth today. Got my hands on the sacred american version, the one that has no scenes removed or censored. I think this game has about 6 different versions for different countries, each one with different scenes removed or censored. The greek version, for example, is an unplayable joke, ridiculous.

In the game, you control a character created by you (as with most RPG's) who teams up with the other kids for a completely absurd plot that satires traditional fantasy RPG's, like Skyrim. You even have the Dragonshout power. It's the same thing as Skyrim's Fus Roh Dah, but it comes from your ass, not from your throat.

The game is fucking hilarious.

But what I want to comment, from a pedo point of view, is about the part where the player is abducted by aliens and has to escape their ship. It's very absurd.

Minor spoiler alert

The scene is very explicit, in typical South Park fashion. The character gets stripped to a bed and is anally probed by alien machinery, but uses his anal muscles to press and break the probe and escape. But a piece of the alien technology gets stuck inside his ass, allowing him to use it to teleport around the ship. Anytime you use the teleport power, the character pull his pants down, struggles a little and a metallic antena comes out of his ass. It goes inside again when you're done using it.

End of spoiler

As if this wasn't crazy enough, the game openly tells the main character is 9 years old.

I remember seeing game play on youtube when it first came out. I was gonna play it but it seems like one of those game that would last you only like 3 hours then it was over, So i just didn't attempt it. In your opinion what would you rate it on a scale from 1-10?

But I threw you the obvious just to see

It took me 5 hours to reach the alien ship stage I mentioned. The game is open world and has side-quests.

The game tries to be faithful to the show. It clearly is aimed for those who really enjoy the absurdity and stupidity of the show. It looks like the show and it plays like the show, the gameplay mechanics are purposely weird and old-fashioned. Walking around in the city feels like an old RPG, like Chrono Trigger or something alike. The combat too, it's turn-based and you can't move around, you select the actions through menus based on Health and Mana points, and then there are some speed and precision button pressing games to help raise the attack or defense status based on the action selected, similar to Legend Of The Dragoon. It is very similar to Child Of Light in a sense. It's a very unusual game.

I find the game to be pretty easy overall, but sometimes there are some rage inducing difficulty spikes.

If it was some kind of new IP without a very good story to hold on to, I would give it 6.5 out of 10, but, considering the very South Park worthy story that keeps me going no matter how much I struggle to put the controller down and how many times it made me laugh out loud (I'm not a laughing person, most of my laughs are internal, and I'm not even half finished with the game), I give it 8.5 out of 10 easily.

If you decide to play it, make sure to check which version you're getting. As I mentioned, it's ridiculous what censorship did to this game.

on the rocks

The Stick of Truth was the last video game I purchased.
The bigger fan of the show you are, the better it is because it is loaded with references from the show's entire history.
There is a good puzzle element to the game as far as getting thru the levels with your 'powers' that makes it even better.  Sometimes there are ways to take out an enemy or two before it goes into turn-based combat mode.  So the game rewards sharp-eyed players.

Space Hulk is soooo old school dude....you should try the Dawn of War, they will release Dawn of war 4 soon i think. Total Warhammer is the last good thing from fantasy, damn age of sigmar destroyed it all.

I finished the story already. Shit just gets crazier and crazier. The gnome fight in the parent's bed, the abortion clinic, Mr. Slave's internals, Morgan Freeman, the final boss fight... I just can't choose a favorite scene. :D

I know about the new game. That's why I decided to try the first one. Did you get the joke with the name?
