As I said in my intro, I'm trying to write stories, and I'm in the process of scribbling down synopses and an extended universe encyclopedia so I have something to work with when writing the actual story, partly to serve as reference, partly because I've noticed that the stories I write directly simply don't work.
Now, for the actual question. It's looking like it'll be serial thing, and some of it won't be involving on-topic sex, or sex at all. Is it okay to still post it in the the literature subforum, provided I tack on the correct story codes (I'm well familiar with the ASSTR story codes, such as the nosex one)?
As to which subforum, I'll most definetly will be writing in fiction, because although the storyline will take cues from reality, it will mostly be about things which haven't happened or won't happen.

I wouldn't worry about your stories having non-sexy parts or chapters.  No one is going to feel like they're getting shafted while you do a little world building.  It'll just make the sexy passages all the more immersive, I reckon. :yes
It's never so bad that it can't get worse.

Well, this is a pedo forum. The stories should be about minors. It doesn't have to be pedosexual, but then it should be pedoromantic. You can definitely have other story elements in there as well, as long as the romance is integral to the main story. You know, like rescuing the princess. That's my opinion on the matter, for what it's worth.

And remember, you won't be able to post them until you have 100 posts.

I try to aim for a base level of immersiveness, as well as suspension of disbelief by means of realism, as well as both perspectives of an interaction. I've read erotic stories, both on-topic and off-topic, and there are things that rub me the wrong way, of which what I mentioned are a few, but another is the excessive focus on sex. Like, why not try to convey a bit of knowledge and wisdom as you write?

I know of the 100 post requirement, so I guess it gives me the time to flesh out the extended universe and synopses :D
And it will be pedoromantic/pedoemotional at least. And one of the events is the MC rescuing a 10-year old redhead (figurative) princess...

Thanks for the answers,

I agree, realism creates a more engaging story.  So does keeping it small.
I used to consume on topic stories way back in the day when CP was more difficult to obtain and the number of stories that ballooned into absurd orgies involving half the town and every kink imaginable were definitely skipped by me in favor of the more compact stories about two or maybe three specific people.  ... sometimes four... :P

Mine might become large length-wise, but I will try to keep the pieces in a form which can be enjoyed alone. And it wont involve half the town. 🤣

Length wasn't the issue, I would say it was breadth.  So many people involved as to be unrealistic.  I shouldn't need a glossary to remember who all these characters are for an erotic story, you know?

It's the guy and his step kid... and her friend from school and her friend's cousin and her friend's cousin's mom and the guy down the street and half a little league team and a random girl scout selling cookies door to door...
It's an erotic story, it doesn't need more characters than a Tolkien novel. :P
