Name Change

Howdy my beautiful crew!

After consulting the oracles of PSC, and by a democratic vote, we have decided to rename this board. Formerly known as the "Conservative Board," it will now be called "the No-Contact Corner."

The reasons for this change are manifold. Mostly, we noticed a lot of people were confused by the word "conservative," it not being widely used. No-Contact is a very common term to denote a pedophile who, for ethical reasons, chooses not to engage sexually with children. It may or may not imply abstinence from CP, or other deterrents.

We understand "no-contact" doesn't fully map onto the exact meaning of "conservative," but hopefully this will clarify the purpose of this board, and maybe attract newcomers who identify as NoMAPs, or no-contact.

I must admit it took a while for me to realize the board was not about politics!

Suits me and makes sense as NudieDaddy says the term conservative does make one think of politics. I am guessing lapsed NoMAPs and recidivists might also find the name change helpful. A non-contact preference among MAPs might be common.

I was the same.  I usually use non practicing.

At least once a year, I'd have to tell someone the word "conservative" is used in a general sense and not a political sense.  It was annoying, because if they bothered to to read the description for the section, they would know that, but people be skimmin'. 
So I welcome the title change.
