Danish DanBB and TLZ Admin busted

A 33 year old man from Bornholm, Denmark has partly admitted to running DanBB. From 2011 to 2015 he was running DanBB, a CP sharing community where it was required, that you spoke a Scandinavian language. Court papers claims he also had a staff role on TLZ, as a SVIP admin.

The police representant say they found almost 60.000 photos and 3174 videos pf child porn on his computer. She however also says the material ranges a lot, from hardcore with penetration, to "mild child porn" where it is just naked children, without anything sexual going on. If found guilty, he can look forward to two to six years of prison.

I wonder whether Members would be surprised at the number of images - forget the SIZE of the store, but the quantity of files that they have....  We look at those numbers and think 'wow'...  but really, is that a lot in the general scheme of things??

Compared to the number of conventional porn images out there, it's a drop in the bucket.  But if those images involved children who were coerced, then the number is frighteningly large.

I don't think it's so large of a number. I can see a seasoned collector of non-nude and softcore content reaching such a number of files, counting pictures only. Add true hardcore content to the count and the number sky-rockets.

The number of files won't matter much, in the end. Rather that he ran DanBB and was an admin on TLZ will be what gets him a harsher punishment.
