If you could choose to meet and spend a day with one member, to go out and have fun and to talk about life face to face, who would you choose?
There's only one rule. No sexual interests can be involved whatsoever in your decision. You can't choose someone because he has daughters or because he knows children and is proposing an orgy or something, or because he's single and seems to be a good match for you.
My first answer would be someone who has been gone a long time now. I think we would have gotten on famously. But I feel like the intention is to pick an active member. So then my pick would certainly be my Staff colleague Gaki. I can see us staying up until the wee hours discussing innumerable topics over innumerable drinks.

This should come as no surprise. The first on my list is nyarla. We are both very alike and we both like the same things. We chatted numerous times in the topics and through PM's too. Finding fun stuff to do with him would be no hard. I'd love to exchange some headshots with him in BF1 or wreck up a shopping mall like in that Avril Lavigne music video. :D
The second is The Forgotten (I don't remember how to write his name and I'm too lazy to go check.), for the same reasons as nyarla.
The third one is littlepolly. He seems to be a very lived person, full of interesting life experiences to share. He posted somewhere here something like "About 30 years ago, this happened to me." (Not exactly like this, but you get my meaning.). Damn... I have not even lived 30 years yet. I'd love to share some beers with him and listen to what stories he has to tell.
The fourth one is lensman, for reasons similar to littlepolly. He always shared some of the most interesting views in the discussions, and he seems to be a very cultured person.
There are many others here I care a lot about and love to see posting, like you, Gaki, Chairman, BabyBoyLove, FunFare, ReturnOfTheChampion, AWAWAW (missing), ministraw (missing), Mr. Speed (missing) and others, but, face to face, I don't think we would have much to say and stuff, so meeting them is not much of a desire. Nothing against, I'd love to, but it's not really necessary.

That would be tough to single out anyone given the stated criteria. With on topic material many, but not knowing everyone else's preferences outside of here it would be difficult at best to single anyone out. I'm certain there are many that would great to talk to about a variety of subjects given the intellectual thoughts expressed here with on topic subjects. So if I had to pick one it would be Gaki.
I have no idea. I can't single out one person who I'd want to meet. I guess I should integrate more :)

Hey, guy, I'd choose you, too! I've enjoyed our discussions and back and forth banter very much. And throwing back a few would definitely be on my list! :party
Since I like to write stories and articles, there a few writers here that stand out to me - Matrix, Aphrodite, TahBu, FunFare, Metamorphosis. I'd like maybe to collaborate with some of them or maybe just bounce ideas around. Writing can be too solitary a thing and I'm a social person. I just can't be social about on topic and wish I could.
Now when I thought about it more... I remember discussion with BabyBoyLove, he seems a smart guy, I'd like to meet him. No attractions involved, we don't seem to have common attractions anyway :)
I would love to meet lots of you guys, but if I had to give one answer it would be Chairman. Both for the discussions, but also for him being the CP encyclopedia that he is/was. Bet he had a lot of stuff to tell, that he hasn't revealed on here, damn I miss him on here.

I don't think anyone knows, but I don't think it was anything sinister. People do drift away for various reasons, and sometimes when they try to come back they find we're no longer where we were. I think for those who aren't interested in other pedo-oriented sites, such as those who don't search for CP, it can be quite hard to find us again when we change our URL (as we have done a few times).
I'm going to echo OTR a little - it's the other staff I'd be most interested in meeting. There are a good many others here I think would be good to talk to in IRL, but I don't want to specify that in case others feel unloved ;)

Sometimes, when there are server related problems or similar issues, the managers change the URL. But the site is still the same, you won't need to create a new account. Sometimes, when a backup restore is necessary, some recently created posts and accounts will be lost, though.
If I could chose to meet a member, and taking into account the fact that you can pick past members, I would pick my friend Chairman, whom I recently found out decided to quit PSC for good. This was devastating news for me, more-so because I had been away from PSC for a long time, and I came back only looking for his advice. Now I feel orphan. It's almost like losing contact with a friend and then finding out he died. Anyway, I would like to meet him in person, listen to his wise words, and ask him for a warm hug :(
The PSC Staff have a (fairly) regular schedule to back up the database and store it securely somewhere besides the current server. We also have a backup of the shell of the PSC Forum site, meaning that when we have been forced to move elsewhere from one server to the other, we simply take our belongings with us and move. We then have to create a new site address, but apart from that, there are no changes to the site.
As UL mentions, it has happened a few times in the past, and although we may lose a few posts, for the most part, we have been able to keep going without too much interruption apart from one major hiccup after the Fall.

As Gaki and UL have said, we don't change the URL deliberately. We have, however, been forced to change it a few times as hosts have crashed etc., and I think some previous members haven't been able to find us after those changes. It's not like we can advertise on TV ;)
And yes, as others have said, dear Chairman is sadly missed.
Impossible, I can't choose, authentically I have so much respect for the members here at PSC. This crew are stronger than most I would say, there is something about being a pedo, it puts you into a very vulnerable space. It takes tremendous strength and clarity of mind to live as a pedo, not all pedos live right, but as I said I have so much respect for you and this space. PSC is a beacon for pedos that wish to change, grow, to confide, to guide, to challenge, to push boundaries, to install boundaries. For being here, you all have my respect.
I will name a few that really get my attention but this is in no way to minimize anyone that is part of this board:
BBL is someone that has had a huge impact on me and I have tremendous respect for him (have I said tremendous enough yet?). I would certainly not be there person I am today without his help and example. I owe him a lot for being a persistence shoulder to lean on, and giving me some hope when I thought I was alone, he reminded me that I have a community to depend on. Gaki a sheik and alluring figure to me, I've grown quite comfortable and familiar with him. Once again so much respect for the work you put into this place, I wish I could do something to show my gratitude, I can't overstate that. You are gentle but challenging and I really value that sounding board you provide in this space. OTR so down to earth and relate-able, I'd very much like to spend some time at a bar or some comfortable space talking about anything really, I really appreciate what you do. Nyarla I'd love to go to the beach or cinema with you sometime bro, it may seem small, but for me it is really nice to know that a younger guy could know these things about me and not think I was a psycho or totally weird. I really like hearing about what you are up to. Unleashed I don't know you as well as I'd like to be honest, I think your a really interesting person. You being close to nyarla makes me quite happy too. I've seen you around else where but not made contact as I lurk, I'd love to talk to you about some of the things I know you have seen happen to the communities we share. War stories. Itu a bit of a new acquaintance for me but already I know we share a lot in common as far as the appreciation we have for boys, I'd love to spend time with you in a casual setting just talking about the love we have for boys! This list is growing out of control, I have to add Stoned I've confided some serious issues to you and I really appreciate the ear you lend to me, I really love when I see you are on or have posted something new. I am always curious to know what is going on with D and I really feel so much warmth toward what you bring to this space. Oh geez, that's a tough one.
While I'd like to get to know a lot of you in person there are two members where I can't decide whom to chose over the other. One of those being oneofthose due to the things we talked about far away from the boards. Then there is Gaki who not only seems to be the kind of person I do get along with very well but also because you've been a big help for me with the whole Rachael thing.
When I include past members I have to add Chairman tho'. And then there is this one guy I met elsewhere on tor who has no account here but is always lurking around. If you read this, cheers my friend, enjoy your Scotch you're prolly drinking right now ;)

I would really enjoy meeting some with my sort of view about our pedo community. I like to sit-down at a coffee house or bar or even in a park and talk about anything that's on our minds. Male or female. With or with out kids. Young or old. Finding new friend in these time are wonderful. It's always nice to make new friends.
Of our newer members I would love to sit down over coffee with Karin P and get more in depth on her views. I find her a very interesting person from her posts.
It's hard to pick out individual members - I think I'd love to meet just about all of you - there'd be so much to talk about...
But one or two members (probably 'past members') stick out - I remember ministraw, a young woman, with something of the wild-child in her - she was into cross-dressing adolescent boys who cry, had a wicked sense of humour, and had a kind of girlish energy about her that was very attractive. There are so many other connotations to being called a dick or dickhead - as in the head that has no brain or no common sense and at times goes places it shouldn't, maybe literally but probably figuratively. An absolute PSC dream for me, would be to invite Gaki, Chairman, GLover, Sterling Archer, YLL, and OTR around to enjoy a fine afternoon and evening out on my expansive top floor balcony, overlooking my lovely wide winding river and the stunning skyline of the City Lights. With a couple of fine decanters of Louis XIII de Rémy Martin Rare Cask to keep us company, a fully stocked humidor of Davidoff Private Stock Number 7 hand-rolled cigars, and a delicious high end barbecue on the go. Ahhh, we can dream my friends. But there is nothing I would love more than this. :yes
Thinking about it, with Chairman and Archer in attendance at the same time, one of them would likely end up going over the edge of the balcony, and plummeting to a messy death on the streets far below. That wouldn't be good, so we'd have to make a weekend of it, with Chairman taking one slot, and Archer the other.
One of the things I hate the most about the lengths we have to go to to hide our true identities. What other group in this world cannot take the risk of enjoying the company of their closest friends who they love the most in this life? :sadno

Well like everyone else has mentioned it's nearly impossible to narrow it down to just one....but I'd probably say either twisted or Itu, as I've become quite close with the two of them in my time here so far. But at the same time, being taken in as Chairman's unofficial protege I might have to go with him :grin ugh too many choices, there's several others that I could mention also....

I've only been here a few days and would love to sit down with several of you!
But I'm a very relational guy. At work, I'm the one that walks all the way across the building to talk to someone, when I could just pick up a phone. I'm the guy that walks into a fast food joint instead of going through the drive-thru. I like personal interactions face to face. You have no idea how much I wish meeting up with one (or a bunch) of you guys was actually possible.

This is such a tough call! When I saw that the thread had been bumped, I figured I'd see a bunch of mealy-mouthed "Oh, I really can't choose" stuff. But, since others are answering honestly . . . in alphabetical order:
DropsOfJupiter, because I feel a real kinship, or commonality with her, despite our enormous age difference. I've had a few PM interactions with her, and I simply can't imagine her being insincere. She's probably the age of several of my granddaughters, so I feel a silly, unnecessary "protective" instinct toward her. Her recent heartaches have made me love her even more.
ijp and stalker. I put them together because they have both, in their own ways, impressed me with their intelligence, humor, and very fascinating and unusual personalities. I'd sit at their feet and just listen.
nyarla, who is possibly my closest "buddy" in the community. We've PM'ed a lot, and although some of our sexual tendencies are different, I feel a great "big-brother" type affection for him. We're on the same page, although in different paragraphs!
ontherocks, because he knows where all the bodies are buried; and he hasn't hesitated to rebuke me when I was showing my ass. He's probably a great deal more mature than I am!

It's weird how you can actually develop friendships in such an anonymous website where you don't actually see the person, you don't have anything to prove anything one says, yet, somehow, through the very basic human nature of "talking", we can develop connections to an extent whatever else is unknown like the place of living, the name, precise age and whatever else don't matter.

I rather feel that maybe.....maybe....when everyone is totally anonymous that is the only time you can see exactly how good of a friendship you can form. When nothing based on being nearby is holding you back, look at what can happen.

I agree with you 100% DOJ. The problem is when you can develop that kind of friendship and when you want to go to another level both of you has to put yourself out in the open and take that chance!!

There are many members now long gone that I would have loved to meet. Perhaps, if I had to choose just one, that would easily be Gaki.
