Let's say I have a magical pill. The only effect of this pill is that you will lose all sexual attraction to anyone who is more than 15% younger than you. The effects are permanent. As you age, your AoA increases as well.

Would you take the pill? Why or why not?

I have to say no,although I haven't really got much experience in the Child love aspect. If I did get into it, things might be different. Living int he paranoia of watching out all the time might make me say yes. But for the time being, it isn't a concern. Pedophilia to me and others here, is a gift. I'm not the wrong one about loving children. Society is about disallowing this from us. This pill would be a reformist solution that would actually make the world worse for children, as I see it.

I can't see a good reason to lose attraction to children. I'm already against so much things in that society that changing one of them wouldn't make it any better for me. It'd be just like blinding me from one more truth.

I enjoy conversations like "favourite candy?" "favourite movie?" etc.
I do enjoy trying to catch a glimpse of skin.
I realise that sex would be an extension of this and currently remains a fantasy.
I can have my fantasy in MY time and enjoy them otherwise in OUR time.
I would have sex with them if they WANTED to, but none have ever headed in that direction, even though I try to make it clear that they can confide in me about ANYTHING. This is a tough question for me. It's something that I thought about a lot. Life would certainly be a lot easier without urges to do something illegal.

I try to press this button slowly day-to-day. Debating about the stupid laws, for example. We're a minor fraction of people but we make anothers' life better way more frequently than most people. We don't need to expose ourselves when we know how to show facts (a tip is talking about paedophilia as any other political thing, like drugs, abortion, cloning, etc).

But the pill I'd never, never take. Our world would be even worse without paedophiles.

I've played my part of pushing the button. At first it went well, but then my friends saw through me. Since I first brought up the idea that pedophiles are just as much humans as the next person, my motivation to be around children has been harshly critisized. I've been warned by multiple friends that I need to hang out more with people my age, and that they find it entirely unacceptable that I can have such a high degree of fun and relaxation around children.

It's been a stressful position to be in.

It's not all bad though, however. I have at least one friend who fully agrees with me that pedophiles are demonized by our society and largely this is a ridiculous thing.
