Did you know? Because dolphins only rest sections of their brain at sleep scientists believe the animal is unable to dream. Sounds like dolphins could use some ambien.

Did you know dolphins have  an advanced communication system? Studies are still being made, so we can't say if they have actual sentences but should this be proved we will have find the only other species that can talk.

Interestingly, I don't think them jerking off in fish carcasses is such an ugly thing. Before condoms were made of latex, people wore condoms made of pig intestine or other such material of animal origin. We wear leather without giving it too much thought, and sometimes leather plays quite an important part in sexual practices. :P What would be disgusting is if dolphins jerked off in dolphin carcasses....

I've heard that sometimes dolphins will rape humans.
Dolphins will rape almost anything, they even manage to find ways to masturbate using fish carcass.

There's a whole episode of King of the Hill about exactly this. :lol

Some of us just weren't meant for the so called "normal" we see far beyond what is forced upon us as "their" idea of living. We live within our own hearts and minds.

Did you know? You can use milk to nullifying to some level the effects of your depression medication. So if you like to sleep drunk but hate the effects that alcohol+meds give you in the morning, a good glass of milk on your breakfast can make some of that go away.

The cow bird is a species native to North America and it is a nest parasite.  The female locates the nest of another bird, and lays her own egg there.  When it hatches, the host species will raise it as its own (because while some birds are smart, they can't count and assume any egg in the nest is theirs.)  Seems kind of sneaky and perhaps harmless, but for the fact that the cow bird chick grows faster than its foster siblings and will literally shove them out of the nest to certain death so it can claim all the food the host parents bring.  And since birds can't count, they are basically clueless that they're raising someone else's baby; and the fact that baby murdered their actual babies.

Capybaras, the lazy cute things they are, can actually nap underwater. They can close their own nose and just have a quick sleep while submerged.

I'm kinda wishing I was a female killer whale right now!

Saturn and Jupiter are gas giant planets that produce a truly unique form of weather. Recently, scientists discovered that there is plenty of carbon in these atmospheres. When carbon soot gets hit by lightning, it hardens into graphite and falls downward, where the pressure of the atmosphere hardens it further, until it becomes... a diamond!  Storms on these planets may literally rain diamonds as big as a centimeter across.

There's approximately 7×10²⁷ atoms in a average human body and there's speculated to be around 7×10²² stars in the universe. There's infinitude within all of us, quite a beautiful thought ain't it? Don't know why it made me cry.

At very large and very small scales, the Universe behaves in very simple ways. At the smallest scales, the fundamental rules of the Universe and all of its symmetries govern like clockwork. At the largest scales, everything is averaged out in perfect homogeneity. We exist at a scale where some of the most complex phenomena can happen. Turns out that isn't right in the middle, but actually skewed way towards large scales. We are much bigger than we think, when we consider all of existence. We have practically explored all there is to see in matters of the very large, but there is such a gaping chasm in our knowledge of what lies at the heart of the smallest pieces of space and time.
