I've been obsessed with rock my whole life, but rock as a genre has become pretty hit and miss nowadays. Now I listen to electronic music for the most part. Trance, house, deep house, drum and bass, dubstep, and chillstep.

I'm into a lot of music. I write some of my own music (mostly classical) in fact. But my preferred genres include:

Classical
Opera
1980s and older Rap
Select Hip-hop
Alternative Rock
Electronica
Trance
Drum 'n' Bass
Ambient
80's
90's
Select Country

Honestly, I like all kinds of music. There are songs and styles in almost every genre that I enjoy.

I have to say though, I mostly listen to music to fill the silence while I am doing other things and I rarely feel any strong emotions that some people do while listening. Maybe it's the anti-depressants...

Mostly metal and old school punk (70s-80s), When I was much younger music meant something, but now? Not really. Just enjoy listening.

I cant specify the kinds music I like. The best I can give is that once it sounds "good" I'll  listen to it. For example for the most part i hate rap but i might be chilling and listening to the radio and the most retarded sounding two chains song comes on and i just subconsiously start singing along actually enjoing myself. i do sort of have a preference for instrumentals and edm. I think its due to my lonely childhood spent clutched to games literallly memorising all the instrumental music.

Mostly drone ambient music, the likes of Carbon Based Lifeforms & Boards of Canada,
Depending on the mood ofcourse, other times I'd listen to downtempo or a bit of electronic chillout.

Heard of Aphex Twin and Flying Lotus? I know somebody who loved ambient music and these were his favorite composers.

I answered in another music thread we made in 2012, but searching the board didn't find it. I like electronic music, mainly techno (e.g. Gabriel Ananda, who is very popular on Soundcloud; if you want, you can listen to his Mr. Morek remix), and piano music (e.g. The Sims 1 build mode music). Much of the artists/composers I like have not become popular yet, and googling the song titles will probably show my comments in the first page of results, so I won't mention them.

Certainly, I listen to them two as well,
I just lean more towards BoC's style of music, their recent album was a massive inspiration to me.
Stay safe and spread the love.

To tell you the truth, I don't know what I'm doing here.

This is going to be a boring answer, but I'm into anything that sounds good. What it means to me depends on why I think it sounds good.
If you can cross dress, you're probably attractive to me. I'm not a paedophile in that I'm not attracted to prepubescent bodies, but I don't really mind them and I've indulged in seeing who is attractive and gorgeous so much as a child and a teenager that I'm stuck this way, seeing the beauty in young boy's faces. I hope that makes sense.

So what's good for you? Cool? Catchy? Deep? Inspiring? Pretty? Fun? Depressing? Unique? Fitting the occasion?

A lot of times I'll listen to music for motivation, so, depending on my mood I can listen to any of the above.

Mostly Rock and Metal (nearly all sub-genres), but I also occasionally listen to Goa or Raggae.
