Has anyone tried watching this? It is animated and about demons trying to rehab people that went to hell. I find it really amazing. Supposedly there was some controversy over the girl that created it selling commissioned drawings of characters railing under age characters or something but I am super not bothered by that.

The stories though have a ton of depraved stuff and violence.

I really liked it but think I need to re-watch it again because I kind of didn't retain a lot of it. I can't even remember most of the character's names. I sort of found myself identifying a lot with the gay dude and the bartender. Which probably says a lot about me.

I sort of got really distracted by the religiosity of it, but not really in a bad way. I just sort of found it running up against a lot of themes that I have been exploring more in my own life, and it was kind of weirdly emotion-provoking. Fucking, "It Starts With Sorry," had me all misty eyed. Beyond that though I just kept having this feeling of like, "Is this all a coincidence that this topic keeps coming up in my life?" and feeling like I was being sent some kind of message or being shown a sign or something. Except after a while I realized it really is just a coincidence, at least in the sense that of course I'm going to start noticing this topic more in our society after actually opening myself up to it.

The whole bit about the controversey of her drawing underage sex makes me wonder like, to what extent? I mean was she drawing straight up lolicon or are people just pulling the usual Outrage Brigade shit.

I think she was doing paid drawings where she made them in the style of the characters she does. So likely really stylized and half furry. But also fully railing lol.

It is hard to go and find original sources though because of all the current pointless outrage at her. Like right now trying to look up her controversies all you can find is tonssss of posts and even people making videos crying about how horrible she is for dropping a voice actor from the pilot when she moved to the full season.

There is also a partnered show to this set in the same world called Helluva Boss. About demons at their jobs or something like that. I knew there was a thing and someone recently told me I should try it too but I am sorta scared to mess up how much I like Hazbin if I try it and hate it.

Ionno. I have not had a ton of time to watch a lot. I have been going like a week at a time between even getting to check my email so I am super behind on so much. I feel like i have not watched a new new show or movie in forever but also I feel like just a few years ago new movies and shows were coming out constantly and now there is nothing?
