Big music fan. Sadly though, it's sometimes hard to find time for new music while also keeping in touch with the music I already know and love. Ya know? There's just so much.

The past ten years or so I've been really into progressive rock and metal, but I like folk, acoustic, indie, electronic, synthwave, post-rock, ambient, pop, maybe even some jazz and hip-hop. Not too big on rap, with a huge exception being Harry Mack, that guy is an actual wizard.

Current top 10ish:
The Dear Hunter
Haken
Delta Sleep
Gregory Alan Isakov
Hammock
Between the Buried and Me
The Midnight
Tool
Modest Mouse
Sigur Ros
VOLA
Coheed and Cambria

That is one thing we share, eclectic tastes. Including rap.

No top ten, just need to have music playing.
I have always liked broken things.

on the rocks

Usually have terrestrial radio on at work.  I flip around from the alt station to the classic rock station to the hard rock station; classic hits station usually has commercials at different times than the others.
Ah "classic hits". Where we guarantee never to play a song you haven't heard in the last month and all of them are at least 20 years old. :P
It's never so bad that it can't get worse.

I suffer from extreme time dilation. A recent hit to me, say five years ago, is an oldie to a tweener. It cracks me up. And makes me happy, at least I am still able to have this kind of conversation with the young ones.

Shady

I'm mostly into phonk and Brazilian funk. Though I do listen to songs from other genre if it fits my taste. Recently I've been religiously listening to Kim Dracula and Joji. The former though, unfortunately is pretty quiet after his debut album. I heard he is still on tour or something, but damn, 2 years without a new song?

Did someone say Tool? :rock

I do love Tool, though I mostly listen to the really heavy stuff. Whitechapel, To The Grave, Lorna Shore, Synestia, Black Tongue, Spire of Lazarus just to name a few. But I also really love DSBM (Shining, Thy Light, Happy Days, Trist, Austere, Selbstentleibung, Thormesis etc.).
:P
And I was alone yet not lonely because in my heart there was the energy of that one girl who means more to me than any human being ever did before.
