Creepy or disgusting content on FB

Is it just me or anyone else too noticing creepy or disgusting content on FB?
Who manages all these FB profiles or pages with so many likes or followers?
Do they get paid for it?

I haven't seen it much myself, though I have noticed that a lot of times thumbnails for ads can be pretty provocative (not necessarily in a pedophilic sense though)

Not on facebook, but that makes me think of the steady stream of ads for Temu, some kind of "cheap shit from China" online store, where all the pictures in the ad look like cocks or titties, but they're not.  Like the ads were generated by AI based on what people were clicking on and people kept clicking on pictures that looked vaguely like a cock and balls because they were like, "Is that a dick?"  Like I swear one of the pictures looked like some kind of cage for your cock & balls in its small thumbnail, but it wasn't?

Sometimes it is dead people, animals, babies.
It's as if the algorithm unlocks content you didn't even ask for.
What's weird is that it has got thousands of likes and comments.
Since most people don't get to see this stuff in their feed they assume FB is clean.
What's disturbing is that even if you hide the post and tell FB to not show content like that it still keeps showing it.

That's interesting. I'm not on Facebook, but I thought these things are banned instantly, even by an algorithm. I know it bans even much lighter things than this. Maybe things have changed...

I swear I once saw a cp video on FB, never watched it there or anywhere, just the thumbnail I had seen before and have seen since.
