Do you think it is ethical to develop biological clocks in humans, cyborgs and AI systems which mimic those present in other animals?
Like say... circannual clocks which regulate seasonal processes like migration and hibernation.
Or like those in marine organisms that synchronize with tidal, semi-lunar and lunar cycles.
If in your lifetime you had a chance to have any such biological clock would you be willing to alter your body?

Come, Let's sit in the shade. This shade is no one's property.
Love me. And ponder for a bit.

Some might argue we already somewhat have those.  Though their evidence is suspect at best.  Just look at all the urban legends about full moons and the behavior of humans.

A more intriguing aspect to this question is humans are among the few animals with no set mating season.  We're always primed and ready to reproduce, but for most critters, they only have one specific time of year for boning.  Imagine the control one could exert if they could manipulate humans into having a "mating season".  That's straight-up supervillain shit, but not completely implausible.
It's never so bad that it can't get worse.
