We talk a lot about why people hate us and what the future holds. We sometimes even spitballs ideas for pedo acceptance. But I don't believe I've ever seen this question.
In every big social movement I can remember, people had to suffer a lot. LGBT would get cut off from their families and move states/countries for freedom. In the civil rights movement, people were beaten, emprisoned, and killed. In democratic revolutions, people fought and died.
If there were a way, how much would you be willing to lose to get it?
Civilization itself.
I've had many a fantasy where everything goes away for whatever reason thus freeing me to be with whomever I want because there is no more of the old bullshit. Back to subsistence farming, hunting, gathering, herding, fishing... And a nightly bath with my child brides; happy endings all around.
Just a fantasy though. The reality of that happening would suck balls. It would be way too chaotic and messy to transition into the more idyllic life at the core of the fantasy in my own lifetime. Too much garbage and radiation and corpses.
Maybe someday I'll outline my workaround for all those problems, but that's too involved for this post. Just have to break some laws of physics here and there. :P
I'm not up for the struggle. I'm non-exclusive anyway. That said, I feel for those who are exclusive.
I didn't understand the question until I read the replies; I thought it meant, "what would you sacrifice in order to become a non-pedophile."
If it would get rid of AOC laws, and make (consensual) sex with children completely legal, I'd be willing to have average life expectancy for my demographic (white males) lowered by a few years. I'm not talking about starting a system of euthanasia for anyone over a certain age; in fact, what I'm thinking of is kinda impossible, since life expectancy isn't arbitrarily imposed by government or any other agency. But if life expectancy for my group is, say, 85, I'd be willing to die at 80 if it meant that kidsex was now a legal activity. Not a very practical answer! But that's what I'd give up: a few years off the end of my life.
It's a bit of an odd question. I am not sure what you mean by being "free". I am assuming you mean to not being chastised or ridiculed for being a pedo. That doesn't bother me all that much. As some of the replies here indicate I think it would put children in jeopardy. Guys especially would be taking advantage of that. So, I would not give up anything to go back and live in times that were hundreds of years ago.

I think I am going to need you to better explain how this puts children in jeopardy. Coercion and harassment are still illegal. If Daddy tells little Sally that she can't go on the camping trip unless she gives him a blowjob, that's still seriously illegal. I also have no problem with prosecuting someone for giving a child an STD. You can still provide kids resources to help them protect themselves, like how to ask for help when someone isn't respecting their boundaries. I feel like if we removed AoC, that makes it even easier for kids to ask for help when a situation goes bad. There are less secrets, it's easier to have open and honest conversations. Also, with AoC, and a medical issue arises, there is a serious temptation to not get medical attention. It's far safer when people have access not only to medical care, but information about how to stay safe and what to look out for. I also think it would be a good idea to require people to get a license before they are allowed to have a sexual relationship with kids below a certain age. There really are a bunch of extra things you need to be sensitive to, a yes isn't enough. You need to make sure they understand the consequences, and what is really going on. You need to go at their pace. I don't feel like it is that hard to work out the issues to proceed forward safely, and much safer than our current system.
